I admit it, I don’t watch enough TV. Actually I don’t watch any at all, the few times I get addicted to Chinese shows I follow them entirely on Youku. It is true that I am missing out a lot in terms of popular humour, because here, like everywhere, half of the jokes that people do are copied straight from TV.

But seriously, I don’t think I could stand coming back home from work and having to turn THAT on. And the truth is I am too much of an internet addict to ever become a TV addict

You need to watch more TV, Uln. That Fuyanjie ad is on all the time, almost (but not quite) as irritating as the Naobaijin ads. The ad has two couples, one foreign, one Chinese. The female voice from the clip at the end of the Baidu video is the foreign woman. The male voice was a bit garbled to my ears, so I didn’t hear which of the two men in the ad he was. Anyways, others have explained enough.

That Baidu video was hillarious! Thanks for sharing, it’s about the best thing I’ve seen to come out of this silly Google China kerfuffle.

I suppose you mean the phrases in the end, the video itself was pretty easy to get, no?

I am still not sure what exactly a 妇炎洁 is, I think it must be some very secret thing that Chinese ladies use but not Western ladies… oh dear, am I spending too many hours in front of my computer, I have to get out and see the World!

Anyway, thanks to Little Yi I managed to get this this video explained offline. It goes like this:

- Hello，我也用妇炎洁！
(hello, I also use the *private parts cleaning product*)
- 洗洗更健康！
(clean it, clean it, more healthy!)

Excuse all for my translation but I really don’t know so much about these things and not sure which is the English word for a vagina cleaning product. It is not a douchebag, but rather some sort of bottle.

I think the whole thing just shows Baidu selling out every square inch of website for the lowliest of ads.

Ah, actually I hadn’t watched all the way to the end.

This is embarrassing, I have to admit I don‘t get it. It says something like: “hello, 我也用 ”fuyanjie” and “嘻嘻, 更健康“ ？

Please somebody help? Xiao Lu!!!
