YOU have been sent to Guantanamo!
Welcome to Guantanamo Bay. Cheer up, orange really suits you! You have been sent here without any trial according to the provisions in our new Bigot Act. Don’t worry, it is easy to get out, you only need to give us definite proof that you are not a bigot and we will send you back to some other country, where you can continue to live your scary life hating our freedom.
While you are here, let me tell you something about China:
1- While it is widely recognized that Mao’s policies were the cause of millions of deaths, this is not equal to stating he murdered millions. If it were, then many American presidents are serial murderers. Mao’s mistakes were mostly caused by flawed economic ideas in which many Chinese unfortunately believed. This is not even comparable to the decades of brazen Western abuse, hypocritical moralizing and drug peddling, backed by ruthless use of force. Feel free to criticize Mao, but drop you superior tone and know that Chinese have all the right in the World to respect him: they feel they are better off with him than with you.
2- For all the problems and injustice that exist in China today, at least the Chinese do not bully other countries. Democratic regimes provide freedom and justice to their own citizens, but fail miserably at respecting other peoples, who get murdered just because someone in the other end of the World voted for it. If you are honest to yourself and count the suffering of every man equally, you will see that China’s injustice and trampling of Human rights doesn’t add up to those of many democracies.
3- For all the efforts of our NGOs, Relief Agencies, World Banks, Hipster think-tanks, Salvation armies, Religious missions, Treaties and Declarations that make us feel so Right and Clean, all of our initiatives together have not managed to draw hundreds of millions of people out of the most degrading misery. The CCP has managed just that, with the help of the hardworking Chinese people. So think before you speak, see past the surface, and give some respect were respect is due.
Once you have understood these points, you can join your brothers of the 劳改 camp for a beer and exchange notes. Once you have made friends, come back to my blog for an open, prejudice-free discussion.
