Political Change made SimpleWritten by Julen Madariaga on February 18th, 2009
I just came across this picture on Hecaitou’s Blog. Brilliant:
I hate spoiling jokes, so those that can speak a bit of Chinese should figure it out by themselves.
For those who don’t speak Chinese, see after the fold.
By now you should have noticed that the large Mao portrait is missing on the Tiananmen Gate. Mao in Chinese is 毛，which also means fluff, or hair (mostly bodily hair).
The characters for depilation are 脱毛，脱 meaning to take off.
